Dr. Pulsifer is a professor of History and directs the program in Peace and Conflict Transformation at BYU-Idaho. He is a certified professional mediator and co-author of Proclaim Peace.

Dr. Pulsipher is a professor of history and directs the Peace and Conflict Transformation ptoram at Brigham Young University, Idaho. He is a certififed professional mediator and co-author of Proclaim Peace.
He is a faculty member at Brigham Young University-Idaho in the department of History, Geography, and Political Science, where he teaches courses on citizenship, civil discourse, peace-building, and nonviolence. He joined the faculty of (then) Ricks College in 1997 and during the 2007-2008 academic year was a visiting lecturer and Fulbright scholar at Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi, India. His research focuses on the intersections of LDS history/theology with just war, peace, and nonviolence traditions.
Born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley, Pulsipher served a mission in rural Pennsylvania, where he met lots of wonderful people including many Quakers, Mennonites, and Amish. He and his wife Dawn are the parents of six children.
