Welcome to Portneuf Valley Interfaith Fellowship

Who We Are

2018 Tour of Faiths

The Portneuf Valley Interfaith  Fellowship is hosting a Tour of Faith with 12 religions on a March 3 from  1 to 4 p.m. The event is planned as a self-guided tour with personal  preference on order of visitation and self-transportation. It will  operate much as an open house of the various faith communities.

The  various sites are planning 10-minute spotlight events that may help a  visitor in planning a tour outline. For example, The Assumption of the  Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church will have a repeating  Vyzantine Hymn Presentation with an explanation of the Orthodox Faith at  1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. The list of events will be published on the  PVIF website at portneufinterfaith.org

Participants  can stay any length of time but are encouraged to attend several sites  to get a flavor of faith in the Portneuf Valley. For more information or  to be a participating church, contact Brenda Pollard 208-233-3543

Mission Statement of PVIF

We are a diverse group of faith communities working together to better the community for the common good, both locally and globally. We recognize our diversity and encourage interfaith dialogue and respect. We accomplish this by facilitating communication,

providing education, honoring and celebrating what we share and reaching out together to those in need. When possible we speak as a united voice but recognize the right of individual groups to support a different view.
