

To recognize and promote fellowship and cooperation among the faith communities of the Portneuf Valley, PVIF honors the recipient of its Joy Morrison Award at its Martin Luther King Jr. celebration each January.
Each year, members of the community are invited to nominate an individual, couple or group. Each nominee will have contributed to greater understanding, harmony, and cooperation between diverse faith communities, or partnerships that lead to interfaith dialogue and action, or advocacy for justice and peace in the Portneuf Valley and in our world, especially among faith groups and the communities in which they exist.
Each nominee, through their actions and involvement in the community, will have shown exemplary service that promotes better relations and openness between all faith, social or ethnic groups in the Portneuf Valley area. This should be demonstrated by their actions and service on community projects.
Nominations are made to the Portneuf Valley Interfaith by the 1st Tuesday in December. To nominate a community member, send a nominating statement to:
